The following is a list of events that take place in the history of El Phildin, as told in The Legend of Heroes IV: A Tear of Vermillion.

Timeline

Before Gagharv

• Bardus and Octum war, resulting in Octum getting sealed in the Sealed Land.
  • After Bardus and Octum fall into their slumber, a tribe known as the Blue People establish their independent magic civilisation and dominate the land.

• Collapse of the Blue People's magic civilisation creates the chasm Gagharv.

G.52

• Church of Bardus establishes Cathedral atop the Sealed Land.

G.117

• Octum's Apostles is formed in the barren wastelands of southern Dusis.

• Turmoil within the Red Tribe intensified through Conjurer Tempest's schemes.
  • Entirety of El Phildin is engulfed in wars.

G.247

• Milligan and Zamba of the Red Tribe battle in the Kaddish Plains.

G.251

• Milligan and Albrecht defeat Tempest.

G.258

• Milligan manages to consolidate the Red Tribe and establish a united kingdom.
  • With support from the Church of Bardus, Milligan is enthroned as the first king.
  • Milligan becomes known as the Blazing King (火焔王).
• The land west of Gagharv becomes known as El Phildin.

• Frozen Durga Temple is discovered in the north of Boreas.

• Cathedral in Valkd is completed.
  • Church of Bardus moves its High Seat to Valkd.
  • Cathedral becomes the holy ground for priests to train.

• Captain Bale discovered a southern route and Gagharv.
  • Attempts of other sailors to reach Gagharv ended in failure.

• Great School of Magic is established with support of the royal family.
  • Henceforth, the development of magic systems in El Phildin accelerates.

• Dinerken succeeds Lemuras as advisor of the Church of Bardus.

• Milligan XVI ascends the throne after a travelling for 7 years.

• Gawain is honoured with the title of sage by the royal family and Church of Bardus.
• Gawain succeeds Dinerken as advisor of the Church of Bardus.

• Adventurer's Guild is established with support of the royal family.

• Kanapia Island is attacked and destroyed.

• Cathedral is attacked by Octum's Apostles.
