In the Guia Mine, an extremely rare metal was harvested. In recent years after the discovery, research has identified its composition and determined that it could be purified manually, but cannot be easily achieved with present skill. Once the metal is utilized, it would be a step in reforming industrial technology.

The rare metal is a required alloy to forge the Rare Metal Sword, a core component for the holy sword Elysium. Rare Metal was also used in the construction of the highly advanced HF-II engine for the Planetos II, making it possible to cross the Gagharv for the first time in history.
