Simula Salim (霧の海), literally the "Sea of Fog", is a sea north of El Phildin.

Off the coast of fishing village Dorx, at the northermost point of the Dusis region, lies the island Verusisla, the resting place of ancient ruins. Further north, a milky white fog starts to drift and obscure all routes by sea. The fog not only causes compasses to malfunction, even migrating birds are said to lose their sense of direction as they cross the Simula Salim.[1]
