Weltluna (ヴェルトルーナ) is the southern continent that serves as the setting for The Legend of Heroes V: Cagesong of the Ocean.
Background[]
Weltluna consists primarily of seven countries: Letrado, Greysul Republic, Penisola Duchy, Marcherose, Ohstern, Numeros Empire and Brodain Kingdom. Ancient ruins scattered about the continent testament to the civilisation that once flourished in these lands. Some of these, such as the Glim Bridge, are still in use, but the ancients' culture and their history remains to be revealed.
Weltluna is isolated from the outside world, the northern continents of El Phildin and Tirasweel, through the impregnable northern mountain range, Great Serpent's Backbone (大蛇の背骨), and the surrounding Ocean of Oblivion (忘却の海). Inhabitants of Weltluna have no means to travel beyond their own continent, unaware of the existence of the two other continents.
